About Wesley Community Centers of Savannah
Since 1949, Wesley Community Centers of Savannah, Inc. has been a beacon of hope for women, children, and families. Rooted in the mission of the United Methodist Women, Wesley began as Savannah’s Bethlehem Center, serving 25 children in a borrowed facility with funding from the Women’s Society of Christian Service.
In 1972, Bethlehem Center merged with the Inner City Community Center to form what is now Wesley Community Centers of Savannah, Inc. As a proud United Methodist Mission Institution, Wesley embodies the faith, hope, and love of the United Methodist Women (now, United Women in Faith), who have supported the organization for over 75 years through financial contributions, donations, and volunteer service.
Guided by compassion and a commitment to social and economic justice, Wesley continues to transform lives, fostering brighter futures for our community.
